OUR APPROACH
A running start into Geometry
Most prep courses teach students how to do procedures. This course teaches students how to think — so when the definitions multiply and the steps get long, they arrive with real understanding already in place.
"I've seen this before. I understand how it works. I can build on what I know."
— What we want every student to be able to say when Geometry gets hard
Rather than racing through all of high school Geometry, this course targets the precise moments where students who find math hard tend to lose the thread. We build the foundation before the school year begins — so when the pace picks up, your student arrives with momentum, confidence, and genuine understanding.

Everything your student
needs to succeed

Live instruction
22+ hours of synchronous online teaching with a highly qualified instructor, in a small class setting with individualized support.

Small cohort
Classes are kept small by design, so every student gets real attention and the class remains fully interactive — and personalized.

Instructor videos
Short recordings of key teaching materials are available after each session — so students can revisit any concept on their own schedule.

Student screencasts
Each student records key concepts in their own words during the course. These become a personal reference library — uniquely theirs — to revisit when things get hard during the school year.

Back-to-school refresher
2 hours of live review included the weekend before school starts — a calm, confidence-building bridge from summer to the classroom.

Printable course workbook
Printable materials supplement digital resources — and provide a helpful reference throughout the school year.

GEOMETRY PREP
Curriculum
22+ hours of individualized instruction in a small class setting,
designed for deep math learning
The course is structured in three parts: a Foundations phase that builds the visual and conceptual ground, a Deeper Relationships phase that covers the topics where Geometry students most often struggle, and a Back-to-School Refresher session right before school starts to strengthen learning and recall.
Foundations
Summer Geometry Prep covers all the core concepts students need to walk into Geometry class confident and ready. The course opens by building strong visual and conceptual foundations — including definitions (of angles, lines and planes, etc.), postulates and common notions, as well as the logic of geometric reasoning and how to read and write proofs. Students also study Geometric shapes on the coordinate plane, and how to apply the distance and midpoint formulas.
Deeper Relationships
From there, students move on to the heart of Geometry — including triangle relationships (such as triangle congruence, similarity, the Pythagorean Theorem, triangle centers and a wide range of other triangle theorems), as well as basic trigonometric relationships in a right triangle, quadrilaterals and their properties, and an introduction to circles and transformations.
Throughout, the emphasis is on genuine understanding for deeper recall — students learn what the Geometric ideas really mean, as well as how to execute procedures.
Back-to-School Refresher
The course closes with the opportunity to attend one or more back-to-school refresher sessions timed for just before school starts, designed to sharpen recall and build confidence right as the year begins. In total, the course offers 22+ hours of focused instruction across live sessions.
