OUR APPROACH
A running start into Geometry
Most prep courses teach students how to do procedures. This course teaches students how to think — so when the definitions multiply and the steps get long, they arrive with real understanding already in place.
"I've seen this before. I understand how it works. I can build on what I know."
— What we want every student to be able to say when Geometry gets hard
Rather than racing through all of high school Geometry, this course targets the precise moments where students who find math hard tend to lose the thread. We build the foundation before the school year begins — so when the pace picks up, your student arrives with momentum, confidence, and genuine understanding.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
Everything your student needs to succeed

Live instruction
22+ hours of synchronous online teaching with a highly qualified instructor, in a cohort of no more than 10 students.

Small cohort
Capped at 10 students by design, so every student gets real attention and the class retains the feel of a tutorial, not a lecture.

Instructor videos
Short recordings of key teaching materials after each section — so students can revisit any concept on their own schedule.

Student screencasts
Each student records key concepts in their own words — creating a personal study library that's far more useful than generic notes.

Back-to-school session
2 hours of live review included the weekend before school starts — a calm, confidence-building bridge from summer to the classroom.

Course workbook
A workbook to use alongside instruction and keep as a reference throughout the school year.
CURRICULUM
Summer Geometry Prep
22+ hours designed for deep math learning
The course is structured in three parts: a Foundations phase that builds the visual and conceptual ground, a Deeper Relationships phase that covers the topics where Geometry students most often struggle, and a Back-to-School refresher session right before school starts to strengthen learning and recall.
PART 1: FOUNDATIONS (8 HOURS)
PART 2: DEEPER RELATIONSHIPS (12 HOURS)
Unit 1 — Coordinate Plane and Visual Thinking (2 hrs)
What a degree is ● Visualizing angles and rotation ● Points, lines, rays, segments ● Distance and direction
Unit 2 — Angles (2 hrs)
Types and measurement ● Complementary, supplementary, vertical angles ● Parallel lines and transversals ● Perpendicular lines
Unit 3 — Reasoning in Geometry (2 hrs)
Definitions, postulates, theorems ● How a proof is structured ● Reading a proof before writing one ● Two-column and paragraph proofs
Unit 4 — Introduction to Area (2 hrs)
Area of basic polygons ● Perimeter vs. area ● Using the coordinate plane visually ● First look at volume
Unit 5 — Getting to Know Triangles (2 hrs)
